The Celine boot climbs past the knee and is cut wide enough through the shaft that it collapses into deep folds as you walk — the slouch is the design, not an accident of fit. A short buckled tab sits at the outer ankle, catching the shaft and giving the fold somewhere to start. The upper is a soft napped finish that reads matte in shadow and warm in sun, and Aveloire keeps the heel low and stacked so the height stays in the shaft rather than under the foot.
