The riding boot, which never really went away.
The Fara boot is the most classical shape Aveloire makes and the least in need of explanation. The shaft runs straight and close to just below the knee, a buckled strap wraps the ankle where a stirrup would once have sat, and the toe stays round rather than fashionably sharp. A lightly treaded sole and a low stacked heel keep it steady on wet stone. Worn with a wool coat and a straight jean it does the same thing it has always done, which is make everything else look considered.
- Upper: Smooth vegan upper with a lightly burnished finish
- Lining: Textile lining with a cushioned footbed
- Closure: Full-length inner zip, with a buckled ankle strap
- Sole: Lightly treaded rubber sole with a stacked heel
- Heel: Low stacked heel, approximately 3.5 cm
- Toe: Rounded toe
- Shaft: Knee-high, cut straight and close
- Fit: Regular fit — true to size
- Care: Wipe with a soft dry cloth; air dry away from direct heat
