The Noelle boot takes the utilitarian language of the service boot and quiets it down for daily wear. A smooth, lightly polished upper sits on a densely treaded rubber sole, with a low block heel that steadies the stride without announcing itself. Eight pairs of eyelets draw the shaft close through the ankle, while a concealed inner zip means the lacing never has to be undone. Aveloire cuts the shaft just above the ankle — high enough to hold its line against a midi hem, low enough to disappear under a straight trouser.
