The tall boot, worn softly.
The Valencia boot rises to just below the knee and is cut with enough ease through the shaft that it folds and settles rather than gripping the calf. A slim buckled strap wraps the ankle — more punctuation than fastening — and the upper is a soft napped finish that catches light unevenly across the folds. Underneath, a low stacked heel and a rounded toe keep it grounded and genuinely walkable. Aveloire made this one for the long stretch of autumn when a coat needs something substantial underneath it.
